Thanks shirlsplay, I am feeling better now, eating a bit more, and feeling a little more energetic. On the road to recovery, at last. I haven't tried Mucinex, but I will keep it in mind for next time I have a cold. Problem was, this time it wasn't congestion or a cough, just horrible cold chills that had my teeth chattering and my joints aching and nausea. Quite a few of my friends have had it, and they had laryngitis as well. Luckily, I dodged that bullet. There really wasn't much I could take for it, just keep the heat cranked, and get into bed with all the covers piled on, and hope for the best.
