Glad to hear your party went well, TDTAT! I ALWAYS go buffet-style when I host, much easier, less chaotic. Although, I usually keep my parties to 15 people or less, and usually just adults...although sometimes they misbehave more than children do

TDTAT, I am so glad to hear your party went well. It has been quite some time since I prepared for a large group, but I remember the work and the stress of it all. It is so rewarding when it ends up a success...Good for you!!

Sorry to hear about the lights cat, hope it is resolved quickly now!!!
Not quick at all hun. There are a lot of kids and elderly people here. Also veterans. 24 hrs is ridiculous.
That is terrible! Hope it is fixed up now!!!
It is fixed. I saw on the news some people lights are still out and has been since Friday 6 pm. So sad.
I am so happy to hear you have power again!
Can you imagine how it is for the people in Puerto Rico who have gone months without power? Last I heard, over 50% of the population still have no electricity. They lost power on September 20th.
WOW! 50% still.
On another note glad your party was a success.

That's a hilarious cartoon webdeb!
By the way... the party went very well! A friend that I have not seen in 20 years came, so that was awesome. Also, another friend who lives 3+ hours away surprised me by showing up. The kids in attendance were fairly well behaved and the adults were mostly well behaved. Success!
Great to hear!!!!!!

Good to hear it was a success!!! You have more energy and courage than I do to take on an event that size!!!
Thanks, but I cheated and had help so it wasn't that bad. All I really cooked was 3 shrimp and squash quiches. One of my aunts was a trooper and made 2 quiches, crab dip, and lots of Christmas cookies. I bought a lot of the other stuff pre-made at Costco (cocktail shrimp, muffins, croissants, donuts, ect). Everything was served buffet style, so it was not high pressure like having a huge sit-down dinner.
Cheating sounds like the way to go,
