awww.....look at all the nice babies.......very very cute!! I really love animals, and I seemed to start to love them more the past few years because my girlfriend is going to school to be a veterinarian. She tells me some really sad stories and most days when she comes home we have a good cry together. Its really sad how many animals there are out there with no home that have to be put down eveyday..... 
**Voodookitty** ......sorry about your moms dog. I can totally relate because my grandmother had a dog that they got when I was born. It lived to be 20 years old and she just couldnt put her down. At the end she seemed happy, but she had a hard time doing anything. She ended up dying well my grandmother was trying to sooth her by rubbing her. She was really spoiled and although I know its hard to put an animal down, sometimes its the best thing to do.

Can't find any piccies at the mo, but here's my story.
My cat (female) was called Jasper (male name), and she had several kitties over the years, but we kept what we thought was the last one and named him Tasha (female name). After every litter she had we thought we'd get her done, but she was such a "slut" that she only had to wink at a tom and she got pregnant again.
So, we kept her in and made an appointment at the vets, but her naughty son Tasha decided he was on to a good thing, and lo and behold, she was pregnant again!! He was a great dad/brother to the last litter, I've never known a male to take care of kittens before.
Sadly, we moved, and Tasha being a Tom kept wandering over the road, and got run over.
Jasper lived until she was 18, and it was HELL watching her being put down.
So, no more animals, until Charlie moved in from nowhere. He was ill, and we had to watch him being put down after 1 year with us.
My daughter had two female gerbils, but we found one of them dead with blood stains all over her neck. That's sistercide!!! or whatever it's called.
I even gave my fish tank away, because I couldn't stand to see the dead fish floating at the top.
NO MORE PETS, NO, NO, NO!!!
