my letter in the local paper

I am not sure if i can post this here or not, but California is having a lot of money issues right now and there are thousands and thousand of people who are fighting budget cut right now.
I am one of those people, so I was asked to speak at a rally we recently had, and I decided to send my speech to the local newspaper and they printed it.

I really truly didn't expect him to print it.

Wow timmsa!! Very, Very well put!! I am one of the disabled and it irks me to NO end what the politicians get away with!! I do not live in Cali... but I think every one of the states should take away all the political "perks" in order to save some $$ on the budget!

On Monday the union that i belong to as well as several other organizations on planning a rally here and then a caravan down to Sacramento with a lot of disabled people who plan a civil disobedience. And the cool part about is that the local media are going to follow us all the way. So as soon as the report is on the news website I will post it here

I am sick and tired of fighting to keep the serivces that my children have.
2 of my 3 children are disabled and I have done nothing but fight to keep their services that they are entitled to.
They didn't ask to be born disabled, I love my children and I would not ask for my life to be any different other than, not having to fight so much for the little bit they have.

Honestly with everything that I have been through in my life, they could make one of those lifetime movie network movies out of it.

thanks, ok I went and wow there were a lot of different people there. And there was more there than i expected.

We are on the news.
And the governor never came out, but he did allow 5 people in wheelchairs come into his office.

at first his pee on's came out and said that he was not there, and then we kept yelling and screaming, and then finally he let 5 people come in.
They met him, and talked to him.

And on the way out we started yelling, if things don't change we will be back.

It was so cool.
I didn't get home till almost 5 pm California time, and I left at 7:30 am California time.
