My sister sent me this, she lost her daughter Jessica which was like a daughter to me too in October, things will never be the same. God Bless all the Mothers in the world!

HAPPY EARLY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put him down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache,
the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

Happy mothers day all, I have made 2 deposits at casino share today and received a mothers day bonus on both, good luck everyone.

Oh I am so sorry, Speaking of Farrah Fawcett, I am not sure she is going to be around much longer. What a beatiful women, and by some miracle I hope she makes it.

Speaking of mothers day,and mothers, I have to say if you have a mother who treats you well, and with respect, and will be there for you for what ever reason, and hold you and comfort you, then you have the best mother in the world.

Roxy what a wonderful, wonderful poem. My heart goes out to your family.

I will forever be in your prayers. This has really touched me. My daughter is going off to college, this next year, and I just have this empty spot in my heart and my eyes, I can't imagine the pain you and your families are going through. My pain is not the same pain, but time seems to heal all wounds.

Lots of love to your family. I am sooooooo sorry for your families lost.

I was 28 when I lost my Mother - and 15 years later I still remmeber how I felt when I would kneel down in front of her - place my head in her lap while she stroked my hair - chit-chatting about our day or a new boy I had met or when I was feeling blue....it was the best feeling in the world.

I miss that the most.

My Mother, is sooooo very Cool!
I remember a long time ago, when I was like 16 yrs. old, or so.
The lady that owned the place where I worked, told me something.
She said, "Jeanette, your Mother is the Best friend that you will ever have".

I did not think too much about it, then.

BUT, now...
I can still hear her telling me this, in her Cuban accent!

AND, she was right.

My Mom, is the greatest!
The Best friend in the world.

Unfortunately, my Mom has many health issues.
Her heart is weak and has had a couple of heart attacks, already.
She is diabetic, anemic and the worse part is the leg swelling from edema
and can barely walk.

She is still a fast thinker and never hesitates to say exactly what is on
her mind!!!
She makes me laugh at some of the things she comes up with!!!

In all honesty, I do not know what I would do without her.
