HOLY CRAP----- I just called Congressman Frank's office and he answered!!!
I told him I support him and thanks and I was going
to donate to his campaign!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!

He answered his phone.. unbelievable!

I called his office 202 in Washington, not the campaign phone..
can not believe he answered.. I know his voice from TV and knew it was him
and was like "Mr. Frank?????????" He was very kind and I love him!

I was so shocked he answered I did not call him Congressman Frank.. ops:
I called him Mr. Frank! Could have been worse I guess.. I could
have called him Barney!

Ok here is how it went down.. This was right after 5pm Washington time today!

I went to his Congressional website. I wanted to send an email and maybe
donate $10. I could not find a donate spot on the site, so I called
the 1st number I saw.... a 202 number

ring ring....
him- "Hello?" (answered on the first ring, a little hard to hear)
Me- Hello? (I was expecting "Congressman Frank's office,
so thought I had the wrong #)

him- "Hello?" ( I recongnized his voice this time, he has a lisp)
me- "Mr Frank????" (in shock)
him- "Yes."
me- "Uh, I just called to say I support the repeal of the online gambling ban and to Thank you. stutter stutter...
him- Thank you
me- I wanted to donate to your campaign to show my support, but there
is no donate button on your site

**** This is when I remembered they could not take donations from their
"official" congress site*****

him- "Uh Sorry but I am in my office and can not talk about donations on this line."
me- "Oh, I am so sorry!"
him- "That is ok, you did not know. That is very generous of you"
Me- "I will find the campaign site and donate there"
him- "Thank you very much (or something similar)"
Me- "Mr. Frank, thanks agin, I really like you and support you, ramble ramble,
Good luck Mr. Frank! "
him- "Thank you"
me- "Bye"
him "good bye"
So you see. I inadvertently tried to get him to break the law
by talking about donations on him Congressional office phone, and
I insulted him by not calling him Congressman Frank. ops:

LOL its all good! That is awesome that you got to tell him that you support him! AND he showed he was an honest person by saying I cannot take donations on this line! He could of said Heck yeah how much ya gonna give..lol

Finally, someone from my state does something right "in favor" of the citizens.
