HANDS DOWN... HANGING OUT WITH MY FAMILY... WE ARE ALL SOOO SEPARATED DURING THE REST OF THE YEAR, BUT CHRISTMAS!, THANKSGVING... WE FIND OUR WAY TO EACH OTHER.

I would have to say my favorite thing about the Holiday season are the children. Not just my own four. But all children. The gleam in thier eyes this time year. Eagerly awaiting the arrival of Santa. or awaiting the next night of Hanukaha to see what little gift they may have. Children have away of keeping the old Holiday Spirit alive and vibrant! The looks on thier faces when they see the lights on people houses and the schrills in thier voices when they are singing holiday songs. The concentration in on thier faces when you read them the Christmas story. The way they look at a gift and size it up first then rip it to shreds while most adults are concerned with carefully opening a package to save the paper.lol Yep, Children are what I love most about the Holiday Season.

My favorite thing about the holidays is being with my family. But, watching them children open presents and seeing their expressions when they open the presents is priceless!! Thanks NLN for another great contest!

It's fun to see all the diff decorations around town. the shopping part i live without, i call it the broke season but i do like seeing the smiles and excitement on the kids faces when they open their gifts and of course the extra day off from work

My favorite things about the holidays is whenever I get together with my family and talk about the crazy things we used to do growing up. I like looking at all the decorated houses, watching all the Christmas cartoons (like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and the like)...but most of all...singing the holiday songs and caroling!! And let's not forget ringing in the new year!!

I love spending Christmas with friends and family and I go out of my way to cook (I usually dont cook much) a delicious meal... it is Turkey, but with something special every year (something unexpected, like a stuffing of pom, a Surinam sweet potatoe or turkey and vegetables marinated in rum, yummie) and I like to give all my guests a special present (tailor-made so to say). This year, there will be a small cousin of me joining the party... and she will receive a kitten for Christmas so.... cant wait to see her reaction!

I love watching the xmas movies with my grandchildren..they get so excited..aside from that..of course seeing family and friends !!
