Need some Prayers

for my mom

I'm hoping some of you can find some time to say a prayer for my mom. She has been through so much in the last 10 years health wise. But she has always bounced back.

Other than my husband my mom is all that I have. Yesterday she had a stroke, and is not responding. I am so distraught, I don't know what to do with myself. I have been crying nonstop, and I haven't been to work for 2 days. I am so grateful to God that I have my husband to lean on and handle things for me, and explain to my friends what's going on, because I can't even bear to speak to anyone.

Prayers are about all that will help right now, so I'm asking my family here to help me out.

My prayers are with you. If it is any help to you, don't give up hope on your Mom. My mother had a stroke when she had her heart surgery. The doctor's told us that she would never recover and would be a "vegetable" for the rest of her life. When she was released from the hospital, she walked out on her own. It took time for her to regain her skills but she did. I'm not saying your Mom will be OK but miracles do happen and doctors are sometimes wrong.

You and your family are in my prayers.

And Annie, I needed that encouraging news. As long as she's alive, there's still hope.

RGALP, You and your family are in our prayers! My mom too had a stroke and recovered. That first three days was terrible, no response to anything. It was a long hard recovery but she too was able to come back to her own home with some help. Each person reacts differently, but God does work in mysterious ways. Prayers are the best medicine anyone can have!! Please keep us informed.
