Netspend/AllAccess Visa Prepaids
That is what I use. You can buy them at Safeway Stores
or online. You can also get one with your name and Reload
it up to $500 a day. Lots of members use them smile
Any casino that takes credit cards will take them
Intertops, Pantasia, Microgaming

I agree.
smile They are great!

No interest charges, no going over your limit,
and no transaction fees unless you are using
ATM (which seems normal)

Something else, on this subject -

I was at "Albertson's" Grocery Store, this evening........

And guess what??

I saw that they sell 'Net Spend' Gift Cards, now!

smile smile **Also, I saw that they sell the re-loadable pre paid cards, as well!

I didn't ask them if they re-load the cards there...
But, of course they do.............or should!

smile I didn't want to bother...........
It consumes so much of their labor, smile the first time I train the clerks
on what keys that they will need to push on the register, in order to
re-load...

The prepaids you buy for $25, $50 and $100 do not have a
fee for purchases but they cost $3-$5

smile Also: it is free to tranfsfer funds from peer to peer
on netspend personalised cards

On my prepaid card I don't pay any fee for purchases.
To reload, I pay $3.95.

yeah that's really smile !! i pay a buck and the $3.95 fee too !!

voodookitty where did you get your card?

It consumes so much of their labor, the first time I train the clerks

re-load...

that's so funny - i do the same thing ; I try to stop them before they call a supervisor..... "trust me , it's - over-ride - 1 - gift certificate " lol

fyi there are a few reload centers around that only charge $2 - usually check cashing stores... (mind you- $1.95 is worth avoiding them... sometimes)

I got my card at Safeway.
They, at times will tell me that they can only load it at the 'Custmer Service Center',
which of course, just happens to be closed by 8:00 p.m.

"Ummm, no, no....you can do it here"(in a very polite tone of voice, of course)

And like you said, you must tell them,
"trust me....override- 1- gift". But, they still grab the microphone.

Between them grabbing the microphone to call for Help and the lady
who was just in front of me that had 4 screaming children.
(one grabbing my leg, and the other that is stepping on my foot..)
And way more than 26 items (I counted them smile ) in the "15 items" or less express lane.
I wish that I could just find a cashier to take my word, and "trust me"!
Always an interesting visit to reload...

I do know of another place that I can reload for $2.00, and there is
not a max. limit of $500.00 load per day.
In fact, their max. daily load is $2,000.00.
(I should just take a 'Home Equity Line ' of credit) smile

However, where that place is located.....ummmm, well...
I would rather pay the extra $1.95.
(might not even make it home, smile if you make a wrong turn...)

The cards can be purchased and reloaded at ACE Cash Express, Randall's Grocery Stores, and some HEB grocery stores, as well. I'm not sure what is in your area, but anyone of these (except HEB if you are not in Texas) should be around you.

If you pay a $9.95 monthly fee, there are no per transaction fees (with the exception of ATM fees).

At ACE, the fee is $3 and you can load up to $2000 per day. I have the Netspend VISA and MasterCard prepaid cards and use them at just about any casino that accepts credit cards!
