Finally getting some much needed rain in West Texas, and the temps under 100 degrees is a bonus. Thanks for another great contest.

We have very hot summers, here in Texas. My solution to beat the heat...don't go outside! smile

DRINK LOTS OF WATER AND WEAR SUN SCREEN OR DO WHAT MY BOY FRIEND DOES AND HIRE THE TEENAGE BOY DOWN THE STREET TO MOW YOUR YARD FOR $20..LOL PROBABLY THE BEST $20 YOU'LL EVER SPEND...LOL smile

I stay inside with the air conditioner running 24/7 on the really hot days!!! Only go out when it's not too hot, unless I have no choice. With medications I am on, I sweat so much, I don't tolerate the heat too well!!!

If you have to be out in the heat, buy a combination personal fan and sprayer. You mist your face and then turn the fan on your face. It really cools you down quick. I got one at the .99 cent store.
