And then my husband said (after watching a machine someone else was playing for a long time). play this for awhile, which was a dollar machine. I was so nervous, and then I won 600.00. omg almost peed my pants.... I Did not gamble anymore the rest of the time we were there.

My first experience was a 6 day trip to Vegas. We stayed 3 days on the Strip and 3 days Downtown Vegas. I liked the downtown casinos best. They had the best food deals and looser slots. I don't think we slept more than 4 or 5 hours a day, it was all so exciting. Of course that was over 25 years ago, I could party all night then. We pretty much broke even on the slots, ate like pigs and had a fabulous time. I've been hooked on casinos ever since and we take 3 to 4 days stays several times a year in Louisiana casinos.

I just noticed this was suppose to be for my first win, that was a Royal flush at Sam's Town in Vegas. It was just a nickel machine and I won $ 300. and a black satin jacket with Sam's Town embroidered on the back. I still have the jacket and it meant more than the money.

A funny story....my hubby isn't a big gambler because he doesn't like to lose (wish I had that attitude). So, we are in Vegas playing video poker side by side. He is falling asleep at the machine in between spins. Well, his machine is singing away, and it was annoying me. I finally said to him, "why is your machine so loud"?
