Shop Early ! I've been buying Xmas presents on Ebay for months. I can find anything I want and spend more because it comes out a little each week instead of all at one time in December.

EVERY HOLIDAY IS STRESSFULL AS MY FAMILY IS A DIVORCED FAMILY,,IM ALMOST 40 (NEXT YR) AND SINCE I WAS 10 ITS NEVER ENJOYABLE AS AFTER 37 YRS OF DIVORCE MY PARENTS STILL TRY TO MAKE ME THE YOYO OF THEIR STUPID GAMES..SO I JUST TRY VERY HARD TO ENJOY MY 4 KIDS AND MY NEW GRANDBABY ..SHE ALWAYS MAKES ME SMILE.. BUT THIS SURE WOULD BE A BLESSING FOR US

Best advice if you want a less stressful holiday is don't invite family that cause drama. Although, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without some kind of holiday drama in my household. LOL

BUY A PURSE AND FILL IT WITH ALL KINDS OF LITTLE THINGS. TRAVLE GAMES, LIPBALM, MARKERS...ANYTHING THAT WILL FIT.
IT WONT COST MUCH AND MAKES A FUN GIFT!
I BUY A FEW PURSES AFTER CHRISTMAS (SALES) AND FILL THEM THROUGHTOUT THE YEAR. WORKS OUT WELL!!

My best advice is shop early. (I always end up being that person out on Christmas EVE shopping!)
Also, search for deals, and know that a lot of stores price match, so if you know something is on sale at one store and they are out of it, ask the store if they price match and you can get the great sale!

Go hide in your happy, quiet place (i.e the bedroom, office, garage...), turn on your computer and play some games....or crank up some tunes and get plastered! LOL!!
Works for me! I am not a holiday person at all (except for Halloween).

Shop right after christmas and new year for the next year....
you'll save around 50% if you can find worthwhile gifts.
other than that, best tips are.....
don't drink too much nog, don't kick the cat, and say yes dear often
