1. If it comes to live poker walk to a table and say is this the card game they show on espn? Then proceed to play a couple terrible hands (that don't cost to much) say stupid things like it doesn't look hard on TV, then when you get a good hand you over bet and show signs of nervousness like trembling hands, looking down, etc and take them for all their worth. This has worked for many in many live casinos (not online) smile


2. When you play online and get ahead, don't start betting higher and play for 24 hours on end (This is the reason Ive lost the thousands i've made in a matter of minutes, one time I couldn't find the TV remote so I logged back on after an 18hr session and lost 1,500 in 15minutes smileopsp:


3. When i'm in a live casino I usually win, go figure, and I walk away because the money is in my hand. So if your up online i suggest withdrawing all of your money, take a check and write the amount of money you withdrew and tape it on or near your computer. If you never withdraw you end up smile


4. If this doesn't work go to GA or get addicted to something else LOL smile JK

Figure out how much you can afford to lose, online or at a land casino and when you run out...stop. smile I always go by this rule and I never have any financial problems or guilt. Of course, you may win and if you do, you have more money to continue, increasing your bets or save it for another, sooner than you expected, casino trip. Don't use household budget money for gambling and don't use gambling winnings for the household budget. I've been a slots player for over 22 years and these rules have always served me well.

Set a certain amount to spend. Then, start with smaller bets to build up your bankroll before betting higher.

I allways lower my bet after a bit if I am not doing good...Just lower it for about 5 spins then go back to betting what u were...Keep on that course and you will doo great....Good Luck...

My tip is to.....quit when you're ahead, remember to cashout!! Then don't do reverse withdrawals (online) until all the winnings are used up!

Personally I have a problem with doing just that and regret it later. smile

thekidebomb, I like your check idea... of course it is harder to give back cash than chips, that is why land casinos use chips and the little payout slips!
