Everyone knows that times are tough for a lot of us - and especially as we get older we realize that store bought gifts - although very nice - break, wear out, are to small, to big, wrong color, get lost - or even (ssshhh) are re-gifted (and hopefully not to the smae person who gave it to you - lol)
I discovered crafting, making calenders with pic's of those you love, building shelves or end tables, art work, stenciling, etc., etc., etc.
Always sign and date them. My brother past last year but before he did he made me a bird house and during my recent move it broke - all but to discover on the inside was his signiture and date and along with the words, "I Love You".
It was the most amazing feeling and thee most precious thing EVER!!
Happy Holidays to everyone in the NLN family!!

I shop on Ebay to get the best price. I look at the catalogs and salepapers to see whats new and different . then I find the same thing on Ebay. I saw a couple of books my Grandson would l love, $16.95 each in a catalog, Then I found them on Ebay, they were used but like new. One was $ 4.00 the other was $ 3.99, both book under $ 8.00. It may be a bit late to start (I started shopping 1st of Oct.) but check it out.
There's still time for bidding and shipping (except China, can take up to a month to get here)
I just realize I sound like a commercial for Ebay

Maybe I should ask for a discount.

1. Test your lights before stringing the tree!
2. Invest in a tree that stays decorated. All you have to do is get it down from the attic and plug it in!

TIP # 1 and my only TIP:
Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and
New Year's. You can do that in January when you have nothing
else to do. This is the time for long naps, which you'll need
after circling the buffet table while carrying a 10-pound
plate of food and that vat of eggnog.

Try to let go of unrealistic expectations about making everyone happy with your gift choices, or that your mother (or other relative) will behave better at Christmas than she usually does

.
But instead try to maintain an attitude of gratitude for your family and friends, good health, job, pets, or anything else that makes you happy. And remember to treat everyone with the kindness and graciousness that you'd like to be treated with.
Happy Holidays to all!

DO NOT LET THE KIDS SEE THE WRAPPING PAPER.... OR ANYTHING YOU ARE GOING TO USE TO WRAP OR PACKAGE GIFTS.... THEY ARE SO SMART THESE DAYS ...THEY WILL QUICKLY REALIZE THAT YOU AND SANTA HAVE THE SAME GIFT WRAP.... IF THEY BRING THIS TO YOUR ATTENTION ....TELL THEM SANTA WAS IN A HURRY AND ASKED YOU TO WRAP FOR HIM

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE
NATE'S GREAT!!!
