I've been shopping for over a month... on Ebay. I find those unusual/hard to find items so I start early, but I'm not finished...still lots of fun ahead...I love shopping.

I love watching each person open their gifts on Christmas morning! We sit in a circle and everyone opens their gifts one at a time! You can tell if you've really zero'd in on a gift someone likes by the smile on their face!

We go over to my sister in laws house every year. She is a great cook, she makes dressing, turkey, mashed potatos, really good corn, green beans and rolls. For desert... pecan pies, cherry dump cake, sweet potato pies, all kinds of cakes. She loves to cook and bake. Isn't your mouth watering? Then after everyone's food digests a little bit we start to open gifts starting from the youngest all the way to the oldest person and we take pictures as each one as they open their gifts!!
Look forward to this every Christmas!!

My dad passed away in August of 2004 and my family received a Christmas ornament soon after his passing with his name and years of his life engraved on it along with the last verse from the "Merry Christmas from Heaven" poem:
"I love you all dearly
Now don't shed a tear
I'm spending my Christmas
With Jesus this year."
Every year when I decorate my tree, it is the 1st ornament hung and then the last one taken off the tree after Christmas.

My Favorite would have to been christmas eve My family goes to my grandmothers house and eat dinner before we eat we give grace and then my grandmother always gets this paper thin bread which reminds me of the Communion bread. Which was sent to her from one of our family member that lives in Poland. We each get a piece and we break it with each other. Then We each wich has to be sea food which I dont mind. After Dinner we of course we drink her special eggnog which is real good. Then we each open gifts that we brought we've always bring a few for the kids and of course for the other loved ones. We have always opened gifts a my grandparents house on christmas eve but we also open more on christmas. My favorite is breaking bread with my family then getting messed up on eggnog that taste so yummy but you got to be careful cause it can knock u in the dirt trust me been there a few times.
