Just got a phone call from NETSPEND, a recorded message asked me to press a number. I did. The recording went on to say that in order to be in compliance with laws prohiting internet gambling, it has become necessary to disallow ALL Netspend Visas and Mastercards from engaging in internet gambling transactions.

Netspend says it was NOT their decision.

They have always said no gambling transactions, but done them anyway.
The real test will be if they still process after June 1st I think. smile

Well the new law says that US banks/credit cards can not make "direct" processing to gambling establishments... draw your own conclusions as to the remedy.

CoraBets,

That same ghost called me today.

It stated that all internet gambling transactions with Netspend Visas & Mastercards will be declined in order to comply with the laws prohibiting internet gambling.

I have funded QT twice, last time last night after I got phone call. I guess we will have to wait and see. However, I agree with TDTAT, said 'direct' deposits for gambling. QT can be used for other things.

I got the call also, it was a recording. However so far I've been able to deposit to Quicktender from Netspend with a min of $50.00. Suppose that may be all over soon too......
