Last semester I had to do a paper on energy conservation...looking for credible sources I came across this website and would like to share it with my fellow NoLucker's
The website contains a national database of recycling centers and you can click on your state and see what is available...it also contains news and information about environmental legislation, electronic's disposal, environmental tax credits, tons of other stuff check it out!

Switching to low-energy fluorescent bulbs. Been recycling for years (Oregon was a pioneer in recycling). Washing ZipLoc bags and reusing. Reusing plastic store containers. Walking and riding the bus (sold my car).

I teach kindergarten and we are planting a tree and talking about things we can do to protect our earth.

Happy Earth Day! We will do what we always do, keep lights off that are not in use, recycle what we can etc. and continue to learn what we can do to save our world for those to come.
