My favorite part of the holiday is having my children, my grandchildren and my great grandchildren all over at my house together, it's the best part of the year.

Happy Holidays to everyone

Can there be anything better than the wonder and delight of the children? This would have to be my favorite thing.
but also...snow flakes gently drifting down carpeting the world I live in, christmas lights, and having the entire family around the table. Hearing the childrens laughter, wrapping the gifts to set under the tree.Watching the delight on the childrens faces when they see the gifts under the tree and the happy smiles when the get what they asked Santa for! The tree itself, and hanging all the cherished decorations that the children have made through the years. Sledding with the children and hot cocoa after! The midnight, full moon tabogganing traditional party with our friends, and sampling from the different flasks that keep us warm! Then later, gathering around the fireplace for a night cap, or two, or mostly more! The heavenly smells drifting out of the kitchen while Christmas dinner is being prepared, or the sampling we find so very nesessary on baking day , when my friends and I get together to make gingerbread, and Christmas cookies , and deep dish apple pies, and all the other confections we will serve Christmas day! Oh Yum!!! Seeing family and friends we haven't seen all year due to distance and just busy lives. What a treat that is! Snow ball fights with the kids, and then with the husbands!( we always win!!, do you think they let us win?!) Ice skating, and building snow men with the kids, and snow forts and snow traps for those snowball fights with the husbands!
I could go on and on, but you asked for the favorite so I will stop now!
Thank-You NO LUCK NEEDED for all the contests! Y'all ROCK!!!

I love the fact that everyone becomes a little nicer ....you see people opening doors for one another...drivers letting others go first...children behaving cause they know "he's making a list!"...at any rate the world seems a little more compasionate...I join in that joyfulness by giving myself a goal to do at least 10 nice and thoughtful things during the holiday season..it makes me feel happier and helps me get in the spirit of the season! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!

Christmas is not a happy time for me. As my only child was kill when see was 13yrs old.this makes christmas very sad then her dog. We got her passway two year later dog was 15yrs old i no that a good long life for a dog . But it was like losing my child all over. No more watching them open gifts yes i wrap bones and toys for the dog to. Now it 20 yrs later this is the second year i put up a small 4ft tree we my husband and i have not got around to giving gift to each other . I guess if there one think i like about christmas is my Husband and i are still together.

The moments when you remember what the reason for Christmas is all about. It isn't abouthe presents and the decorations. It is about being humble and recognize all the wonderful things we've been given that have nothing to do with material stuff.

The most wonderful thing about the upcoming holiday season is celebrating the birth of Jesus, that is truely what Christmas is all about.

My favorite thing about the holidays is being able to see family that I only get to see once or twice a year. And, of course, the gifts...Everyone loves gifts....

Happy Holidays to All !!!!
