Everyone has posted all my reasons but one of the best moments of the holiday is the happiness on the face of someone you love when they open that special gift that they really, really wanted.

My favorite thing at Christmas is the feeling of warmth and thanks that I feel for my family here and gone, when I think of Christmas. Thanks to my mother and father for making Christmas so special when I was small, and thanks to my daughter and my grandchildren for making my Christmas now and in the future so wonderful. My parent are no longer with me, but I feel them around me at Christmas sharing in my holiday spirit...and smiling down at my daughter and my grandchildren. Christmas is and will always be a very, very special time of year for me.

I love to see the look on my kids faces when they get up christmas morning to a mountain of gifts under a lit tree. It is the greatest feeling.

My favorite thing about Christmas is waking up on Christmas morning
At my daughters house and watching my grandchildrens eyes as they open their presents
They range from 8 to 23 years old ..
But I see the same joy it their eyes when they open that special present
That they did not think they would get
Christmas is even morning important because it is when Jesus was born
And celebrating that each year renews my spirit for the coming year

my favorite thing about Christmas is it is MY LORD AND SAVIORS BIRTHDAY, and telling that story to my 2 kids every year while raising them.
Thats what I feel this Holiday is all about.
