How to Play Poker Online
The amount of people who have turned to the Internet as a means of gambling is a number that constantly grows. More of us are opting to play games such as poker etc online as oppose to going to a casino but this begs the question how exactly do we go about playing poker online?
You have a lot of options open to you when it comes to playing poker online, for example you have the option of either playing for free or for money, whichever option you do choose you will be playing against people from all over the world, these could be professionals, people like you or even celebrities! With literally thousands of poker tournaments taking place online everyday you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to who you are playing against and what type of game it is you are becoming involved in. For example in one instance you could become involved in a game of online poker that only included about ten entrants or you could become involved in a game where there are thousands of buy-ins. If you are however new to the concept of online poker it might be a good idea to start off small in terms of game size and then work your way up, this way you will be effectively building up your skills, you do this by working your way around different poker rooms.
It is estimated that currently there are more than 200 Internet poker rooms being used, the largest of which would be able to have over 50,000 people playing at the same time during peak playing hours. So how do you find these rooms? The answer to this question couldn’t be simpler; all you need to do is a simple search on one of the major search engines and you will be presented with a range of poker sites, where you will quickly find a number of rooms to play in and pages of information relating to said rooms. So when you have found the room you wish to play in, what do you do next? What you basically have to do is sign up with your chosen website and simply familiarize yourself with the betting protocols, security procedures and house rules, once you have done this it could be worth practicing playing free poker for a while before you then move onto playing for money.
The term practice makes perfect comes into mind here, the more you practice your poker skills the better you will be, not only will this give you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the overall game but it will also allow you to build your confidence up. Even after you have built your confidence up you can still carry on playing for free, you don’t have to play for money.
Playing poker online couldn’t be easier; in fact it is actually easier than going to a casino. Everything you need to play is on the screen right in front of you, all you need is a basis grasp of how to play poker and you can enter into as many tournaments as you want, so why not give it a go today?

Hi tdat i havnt been here for a good while because off poker.
Yea online poker is now hazardous ,even the old timers cant beat the new online game.
There is multitabling too the extreme 25 to 30 tables for a professional online player is normal.ADD to this the hud and table ninja ,tools wich are legal on most sites the average player is fished out.
I have won 4 tournaments and a good few sit and go tourneys lol but long study was needed,
I PLAY 6 TABLES AT A TIME dont use the hud and still play a good 6 max cash table,
too the point where i double the money,After that get totally fished by the professors.
Anyway just thought i would drop a nonsense line

hong kong, Hello! It's nice to see you! I think playing too many tables removes one of the biggest joys in poker... getting to know your individual opponets' play so that you can makes individual moves on them. No Limit holdem is an art to me, and playing it as a science is just not as much fun in my opinion.
In any case, I am happy your skills are improving. GOOD LUCK!
