Why it's necessary to submit "Documents" for a cashout.
For those of you who love to play at the online casino's but hate to send in those "requested documents" you may want to look at the other side of the reasoning. I myself find it tedious at the very least! After all, everywhere we play it's easy enough for them to take our money without a second thought but when we want to cashout we have to "scan" and "copy", "upload" and "email" and it really can be a pain in the backside! BUT, I think we should take a look at the other side.
Online gambling sites have no way of actually knowing you are you, let alone knowing that you are of legal age to play those games. As posted in an article I found at "Be Web Aware"
In a 2005 Media Awareness Network (MNet) survey of students' Internet habits, 23 per cent of male students in Grades 10 and 11 report having visited a gambling site in the past school year. Most gambling sites only require a major credit card, which many university and even high school students possess.
According to Internaional Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviours, 2004
Adolescents are two to four times more likely than adults to become problem gamblers.
I personally think that the very few casino's and gaming sites that do not require the necessary documents for you to prove that you are of legal age to play at thier site are being irresponsible and providing an open door for kids who DO gamble online.
There is also the need for the casino or gaming site to make sure that you are you and no one else has obtained your credit card thus using a stolen credit card for online gambling. So instead of getting upset and frustrated about submitting your documents when you are lucky and want to "cashout", try just sending them in before you make your first deposit at your choice of online casinos. Be sure to do your research about where you are playing and thier reputation first so you know that if you win, you will get paid.
