HELP need computer person...For weeks now I have been having trouble logging into all my rival casinos. No trouble logging into RTG's and other casinos, just rival. I have cleaned cookies, temp files, cleanmgr, removed and reinstalled all my casinos. Checked for viruses, called my internet server, tried running as administrator on my computer. I am at a loss. I have to keep trying to login, I have tried all day and it seems once in awhile I get lucky. I got into Rockbet. It keeps saying There was an error contacting the server.Check your internet connection and if the problem persists contact support. I did contact support at 2 different rivals and followed all their directions to the T, did the cleanmgr thing and all that. This is frustrating and annoying, does anyone have any suggestions????
PS I use Windows Vista

Cootsoup,
I am soooo far from being a computer expert, but I also have windows Vista.
I don't have any problems logging in, unless it is on the Rivals end.
I would want to think that it was a security setting, but it can't be.
You would not even have those "once in awhile get lucky" times where you
were able to log in.
To me, it does sound like a connection problem.
I know you have said that you contacted support (by email?), have you
spoken to any tech support?
I would think that they could run you through some trouble-shooters by phone.
Do you have the Microgaming casinos on your computer?
I, myself, have never been able to download those casinos on this
computer and its operating system, "Windows Vista Home Edition".
I don't know why, but it seems like RTG casinos will just run with any operating system and/or connection!

I have seen vista in action on other puters and would never go to vista, i have had my puter for 5 or 6 years with XP and never had any problems.
If i would upgrade i would keep XP. Just my opinion

codyman,
Had I known then, what I know now..... I would have made sure that I
would have XP on this computer.
I am even thinking about downgrading to XP, and already have the
instructions on how to do so!
But, I am no computer wizard and don't want to mess my computer all up!

Iknow it's alot of hastle to do it but it would be worth it, good luck
I think just simply uninstalling vist and instaling XP, you will lose everything thats on your hard drive, if you want to keep certain programs just put it on disk and reinstall later.

I have had that problem a couple times with rivals. I uninstalled cookies etc. But did you turn computer totally off. And restart after all the uninstalling? Before reinstalling. Thats what I had to do for it to take effect.

Thanks to you all, I too dislike Windows Vista, but it was a new computer in Nov so I don't complain. I am just stumped with this issue. I will keep trying things, if I hit the magic solution I will pass it along....

First thing is reboot and all that but I am about 80% sure it is on your side, on your computer. Maybe you have a corrupt file somewhere.. I am at a loss. The only people who can help is casino support I think. Sorry!

crazyashell12010, HI! I sent you a message and suggested you
go to live chat on the casino's homepage for instant answers.
Since a few people are having this trouble, it is probably a technical
problem with the Rival software. Only the individual casinos will be able to help.
I can log in at Sloto, that is the only feedback I have.. sorry!
GOOD LUCK!

If anyone is having trouble with log in, the fastest way
to get help, is go to the casino's homepage and click support
or service or whatever then look for the LIVE CHAT icon.
Sorry for the issues!
