OMG I just remembered. As I was thinking of what to say - now I remember why I hate this day.
In high school, every year, on Valentine's Day - they would come in and pass out carnations to those "lucky bitches" who's boyfriends had bought them one.......I never got one and always felt like an idiot.
I have a wonderful man in my life (14 years now) and he does not go out of his way to buy me anything...what's wrong? Is it me? Doesn't anybody love me? Can't I get a stinkin' rose or a box of chocolates on Valentine's Day??????????????????
I haven't thought about that for 25 years....are ya happy NLN -- now I need to go back to my therapist!!!

So it turns out, Mike's boss, didn't like the fact that Mike had to stay in NY especially for the Valentine's Weekend - soooooooooo - he is flying me out to NY today - I leave on a 4pm flight and will be kissin my hubby atop the Empire State Building on Valentine's Day.
How 'bout that for a Valentines. Here I thought it would be another CRAPPY V-Day and this happens.
I can't make the tourney - so gl to all and we'll talk on Monday!!

That's sweet! I haven't had a good Vday in years, I don't remember what it's like to have someone that really cares. But at least I have someone I can trust here! rae have fun and enjoy every moment of it!

Happy Valentines Everyone. So far this day is turning into a nightmare! How does one forget after 16 yrs of marriage and 4 kids that it is my birthday? My husband tried to convence me to let him take my children out in the pouring rain at 1 am because he forgot. Oh well. Least I am still alive to see 36 after my heart attack in January. reckon I will count my blessing!

Keep counting those blessing, you got 4 kids who get to see their mommy turned 36 today, thats a blessing in it self. I really hope your day turns out great.
