I'll bet that kushfoot, was one of those kids that would undo the scotch tape,
on the end of the wrapped present, right before X-Mas, while no one was
looking.... not being able to wait!!!

Of course..... I never did that when I was a kid!

smile I had only heard of other kids were doing that!

Happy Holidays! smile

PS: Just some advice, for those Children that are not able to get the
tape to stick, like it was before they had secretly ripped it off, in
order to see what was inside...
While everyone is awake, pretend to bump into the present with your
foot, slightly damaging (only the packaging, of course), the end of the
gift (hopefully it is in a box, of some sort).

This will not only focus the attention on your foot, and you may get some
candy or a pre-xmas treat, but it will also be obvious for the wrapped
present to be a little, not so perfectly wrapped....

(this is what I have heard, anyway..)

i have to admit, i was one of those kids that undid the tape.
But i went 1 step further. I knew where my mom would hide the presents. I would wait for not to be home, and i would unwrap the present completely and then re wrap it all and she would never be the wiser.

I not only opened the tape I wound the alarm clock inside and sweated it out for 4 days while the damn thing was ticking under the tree!

It was a Steve Austin, The Six Million Dollar Man action figure (ok back then it was a doll) and I was THRILLED! and I still get THRILLED just thinking about that moment so many years ago. smile (still this not being able to "sneek a peek" at NLN plans is going to drive me nuts. :icon_hangsmile

smile I suppose I can make a confession....
(this is kinda' confidential, and my Parents do not have internet and they
will and should never find this out... and, I trust you guys smile )

I was a HUGE Video game LOVER smile , growing up!
ATARI, which happened to be the 'Hottest' thing to have back then.

I only unwrapped a few of the games... just wanted to make sure
that they were not duplicates of what I already had!

I mean, I already knew that they were games by the shape of the boxes.

In fact, my Mom could have saved herself some time by not even
wrapping them!

Shhhh... don't say nothing, they can never know!

***By the way ~ Speaking of Parents....
smile On November 21st, my Parents have been married for, 40 YEARS!

I have not been married at all, in all of my 38 YEARS!

2 reasons to CELEBRATE! smile smile
