Just found out that our 15 year old Grandson was selected as 1 of 100 8th Graders in the state of NEBRASKA to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center Science and Health Expo in June!!! We're so proud of him. He won the local science fair to go on to the regional in March and now this!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate your thoughts. This kid has overcome a lot to get here. Parents divorced following Dad spending 15 months in Iraq, a brother who has mutliple behavior and health issues, currently in residential care that requires Mom to be gone every other weekend. They moved in with us about a year ago and he has worked hard to excell in school. We are very proud of him as we are his siblings and Mother. It takes someone special to pull yourself up and turn your life around!!! Their mother does a wonderful job-works full time, mother of 5 and getting a life pulled together for her and her kids!!!
