As most of you know, I hit good at Casino Grand Bay Wednesday. I processed a withdrawal with them for $500 choosing the "UseMyWallet" option to have it put in my Quicktender account. I got two confirmation emails from them telling me my withdrawal had been processed both dated 8/9. So I'm thinking all is well.
Not so much!! Called this morning to see how things were going and if I needed to send in verification documents etc. Was told that my withdrawal had been sent BUT a paper check by regular mail. When I asked why I was told something about having put down "electronic check" and since they couldn't send it that way, they just put it in the mail. Now, I received no notification from them or even a kiss my behind.
Somehow "THE CHECK'S IN THE MAIL" doesn't instill confidence in me.
Will let you know on the continuing saga. I had a feeling there might be a problem with this. It was too easy.
Casino Grand Bay - I think I've been had!!!

anniemac, If they said they sent a check they did!
They are a good casino! You will get your money
it will just take a week or maybe a little more.
Don't Worry!!

I sincerely hope you are right. Told me it would take 14/21 days. The problem I have it not knowing what was going on. If a check is what they had to send, then that is fine, just let me know.
But patience is a virtue as they say, so I wait. I kinda look at it this way, I didn't deposit, wasn't expecting anything so anything is a bonus.
I would make a recommendation to all casinos though, train your customer support to sound like they know what they are talking about even if they don't. When I get a CS that sounds like they just started work and can't find anything I get worried especially when the first thing they tell you is "I can't find your account". And I think "Shoot, here we go again!"

I've cashed out a few times from them and received paper checks in the mail. Typically, they have been drawn on Bank of America, and even though they say 14-21 days, it's usually more like 5-10...or that has been my experience. I think it will be okay.
Good luck and congrats on the win!! Nice going!

Anniemac,
I've cashed out of Microgaming casinos before and have never been sent anything but a check in the mail. Now mind you that this was before the US government decided that on line gambling was bad for all American citizens, but my bank never had a problem cashing them and I always got my check within a week to 10 days (snail mail!). Hope this helps!

I give my vote of confidence for CGB. I won and cashed out 475 when they opened their Multi-player Casino way back. I cashed it out to my Neteller (before all this BS with the US crap) and without a hitch. No haggles about making a deposit FIRST, or I won it with bonus money and hadn't deposited like SOME casinos bitch about, or this or that. They pay. So don't worry about the wait, just have fun with the winnings!

I guess I am just a little leary about online casinos I have never had any dealings with. But I did get an email from their accounting department explaining why it was sent snail mail so I guess they are OK. I have never had a withdrawal sent by check so it kinda shocked me. Of course cashing out from a $20 freebie did too!!

I have gotten many checks from them for $1000 and more and I always received them in about 2 weeks. You will get your check I am sure of that. Good luck on your win and I hope you have many more
