act of congress: Vote the jerks OUT!!

hi e1....this is a very sad day for some of us!!!!!!!i live in the united states and all week i've been getting emails from the casinos i play in(past & present),that i can no longer have an account with them..what's a gal to do now?? any suggestions??i live in wisconsin as well so i have a double whammy lol

I too get a double whammy! I live in Oregon, and I think this sucks! Oregon has plenty of casino's and video poker machines, so this new law basically benefits them. I started gambling online because I never won anything at the casino's here. What is a person to do.....I'd like to ask the people responsible for this nonsense to slip into something more comfortable....like a COMA!

me again..i agree it's a control thing...if they could tax everything comeing out of the casinos outside the states then it would be ok..i really don't know what they hope to accomplish from all this, i'm sure that there will be other casinos that will crop up,what is it any ones business what i do with MY money?? i am disabled and can't get out to the local casinos..most are many miles away!! oh well..i guess i'll start writing all those letters to my congressmen..lot a good that'll do........lol. i think i'm going through withdrawls!!!!!!!!!rofl

I watched the 6 o'clock news here in Georgia that did "special" on revoking freedom to play at the online casinos... "WHAT A GOOD THING", they said HA! They began the story explaining that US online gambling was a SIX BILLION DOLLAR a year industry and that the reason that the politicians found such a "life saving" way of cutting off online gaming was due to the fact that 10 year olds were playing and they just couldn't put up with that..... WHAT A BIG CROCK OF S...T!!!! LET'S SEE ... THEY REALLY WANT US TO BELIEVE THAT THE SIX BILLION DOLLAR PRICE TAG THAT THEY AREN'T GETTING A PEICE OF HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!! ... They went on to say that they found this "MIRACULOUS LOOP HOLE" that will protect our children...they ought to be ashamed...I AGREE...VOTE THEM OUT!!!

Well you have to admit, Denver is a far cry from the Georgia Bible Belt. They don't want gambling period. They just want to believe that they stopped it due to some "moral value or purpose", not because they can't figure out how to regulate it.
