A new WSOP champion has been crowned and some new millionaires made. After over 10 hours and 199 hands of no-limit Texas hold ’em heads up against his final table foe, John Cynn won the World Series of Poker’s main event bracelet, and an $8.8 million jackpot to go along with it. John beat a field of 7,874 players. The final winning hand was king-jack of clubs. The second place player won 5.5 million, so not a bad day to finish second.
