hi tdtat, hi everyone, i am so surprised to have not seen anything about this on the internet yet. have you read anything on this? i am upset because i did not find out until last night that there was a vote. i had no idea. if they do this they will be taking another one of our rights away. i wonder if lobbying the united states senate before their vote will help? what do you think? the house approved this possible internet gambling ban with a 317-93 vote, passing with flying colors. how can the government tell us its ok to bet on the horse races, but its not ok to play poker or casino games, on the internet. who are the internet police ? or who is in charge (so to speak) of the internet? smile smile smile: smile

OK not such a bad thing to ban internet gambling. I love it far too much and it is not good for me. Unfortunately I have Click2Pay and don't use cards. smile

the following is a quote from the associated press,

"the legislation would clarify and update current law to spell out that most gambling is illegal online and would prohibit most payment forms from being used to settle online wagers".

"the measure also would empower law enforcement authorities to work with internet providers to block access to gambling websites".
