I have been a long time player. I "always" played the Rivals. Then became unhappy with the customer service. The old customer service was wonderful, I was on a first name basis with most of them. Then things changed. They are more like robots now, repeating the same pre-programmed messages.
Well, I recently started playing there again. I recently made a withdrawal for 500.00. They only have two withdrawal options (check and wire). I cashed out via check just to complete the withdrawal. I immediately contacted chat to let them know I needed Money Gram (which is what the RTG's do for me) because my bank won't cash the checks. I was advised to send an email which I immediately did.
I noticed the withdrawal was gone from my cashier yesterday (Monday). I didn't want to be a pest so I contacted chat today to get an update. i was told that they "sent" it out yesterday. Now I have to wait for delivery then return it. I am not happy at all as I notified them via chat and email (which I received a return email for) about needing Money Gram.
I have been doing some research. Has anyone "attempted" to cash at Walmart??

RGALP, I am sorry that customer service dropped the ball! I don't know anything about walmart's check cashing policy except that I've notcied signs that say they cash government and payroll checks. Who can say what is or is not a payroll check? I suppose you could try it.

I never play anywhere, where they just have only check and wire transfer withdrawals.
I don't want my bank to have anything to do with my little hobby!

Deb I sooo agree about the bank thing. Rival will not do Money Gram, just check, and wire. Not happy with those options. The RTG's accommodated with Money Gram and now I think it is an option.
I try not to set off flags anywhere so the checks and the wires are not good options for me....
