Hello to all my gaming friends! Just curious to hear if any of you have ever hit a random jackpot at an RTG casino? I hit one time.....$1400, years ago. What usually happens for me, is I play a slot with a high random jackpot for hours, only to log in the next day and see that someone else hit it. Anyone else? Ah, the joys of gambling

kaymast24, I hit one major a few years back for less than $1500 and lots of minors. 5 or 6 years, I was playing Cleopatras Gold for a huge random jackpot (over 5k) and noluckneeded member samsarah hit it! Yes, it hit while I was playing. That is the worst.

I've hit them quite often when paying the tournaments

webdeb, Yes! That happens because the higher your bet, the better odds of hitting the random jackpots. So when you are betting $100 a spin the the tourney they are more likely to hit. Of course samsarah hit that big 5k jackpot betting 40 cents while I was betting $2 a spin, so you never know.

As a side note I would suggest not playing a particular slot just because it has a high random jackpot. I am sure that is why the casinos invented them in the first place. Millions of players have dumped millions of dollars playing for jackpots.
It is sort of like the land casinos showing the number history in roulette. People see that red hit 5 spins in a row, so they bet black and they are surprised when they lose. Casinos started making far more money from roulette when they invented number history. It's related to psychology much in the same way people are more likely to buy an item marked as "sale" than the same item at the same price not marked as on sale. It is all perceived value.
Of course I know I am more likely to play a slot that has a huge random jackpot, bit it is really just a smart marketing technique by the casinos.

I've been gambling for only several months. In most cases I play different slot games on (link redacted) Also recently I've started playing at different bitcoin casinos. Unfortunately, I haven't hit a jackpot yet, but I hope I will and it will happen when I use my own money
