$142/$140 Million- The main League Baseball winter meetings are on progress, with a number free agents in consultations with prospective lineups for the coming 2011 MLB Season. In fact two prominent in exacting made captions on Wednesday; one was signed, while the other was extended an offer. Carl Crawford from the Tampa Bay Rays is now signed with division opponent Boston for $142 million for about seven years. The second notable signing for the Redsox, was Adrian Gonzalez for a seven year deal which was about $152 million. As of the New York Yankees, they’ve been reportedly presented pitcher Cliff Lee a 7-year deal for $140 million, though the Texas Ranger hasn’t yet decided on his future plans.
