Netspend Problems

Anyone have issues with Netspend. I tried to deposit at Club World and Inetbet and it isn't working.....

hello RGALP this is a copy of letter i got when i ask about gamble deposit. Thank you for contacting NetSpend customer care.

We understand that you would like to know if you can use your card for online gambling transactions. Effective May 31, 2010 at 1 AM CST, NetSpend will automatically decline transactions at internet gambling sites to comply with federal regulations. This means you will not be able to use your NetSpend card or account for internet-based gambling transactions. NetSpend has no control over this change. This change will not affect lawful gambling transactions at casinos or other lawful gambling establishments. Visa and MasterCard are requiring that all card issuers comply with the federal law called the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.” We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We would like to inform you that your account is eligible for Direct Deposit. If you are receiving social security checks, IRS checks or pay checks, they can be easily deposited into your account absolutely for free.

Prowan52, Of course they say if you ask them no gambling transactions. We all know the cards have worked since May. The casinos use processors which make the transactions not go directly to casinos, but if someone says gambling to them, the transactions will definately be declined. Dont say "gambling" to any sort of bank or to netspend. smile

Thanks Prowan, but I have been using my Netspend right along.

But an update, it worked yesterday. So It was probably just a problem with their system. Also, I tried my card later that day at Villento and it worked.

No problems for me yet, and please don't cuss.. LOL

"Gambling" is a no-no I love to say yes-yes to. smile

I cant use my NetSpend card at iNetBet right now either. But it is working at Intertops. iNet upgraded a week or so ago and since then my card hasnt worked. But it worked up to that point. I emailed them and was told they hope to have the processor up again soon. We will see. smile
