prepaid gift cards no longer accepted?

I tried to use a VISA gift card today at acouple different casinos and support told me that VISA no longer allows gift cards to be used for gaming. I have used these in the past with no problem...has anyone else heard this? Thanks

depending on what card it is, the reason may be slightly different. For example; the ideal gift visa gift cards that are for sale at many grocery stores in california just changed their restrictions and made international transaction impossible... On the other hand, I just spoke with the deposit assistant ppl at pokerstars and they told me the only prepaid currently working at their site is the all access prepaid mastercard, which is a netspend product. They added that they were not sure how much longer these cards would work... And of course its a touch strange because no other netspend product I know of works at pokerstars, though their reloadable visa product still works at quicktender and many of the rtgs and rivals I play at...

I can't keep up with all these changes that have been going on lately lol

The last time I tried my Netspend at InetBet it worked fine. They have a new processor or something. Anyway try MyPaylinQ. U can use your Netspend there.
