Hi guys just thought I would let US players know this.
As of the 1st of June, 2010, all casinos operating on Microgaming software, will no longer accept gameplay from US players. So all US players have until the end of the month to play at microgaming casinos then that will be the end of playing at microgaming software smile

Casino Share is migrating to a new platform, they say it is like Microgaming, but I have not tried it:

TDTAT, I just pulled CS up and the new platform looked the same as Microgaming. Didn't try it, just looked around on it. Noticed on their Video Poker there was no AcesandFaces nor levelup for that game. Must be the new platform. I don't show a practice mode on my login either.

It looks like MGS have given/sold a copy of the software to a non MGS company so all the existing players can keep playing.. good news for all current MGS players in the U.S. expect all MGS sites to "migrate" if they still have American players.

Where there is a will there is always a way :-)

I used to like microgaming - had an account with AllSlots for years - but had noticed that over the last 6 months I received only 1 promotional bonus offer with a deposit (besides they're 10 ack every deposit each week). I felt like I was a tolerated guest - not ever able to get live help either. Last week I deleted the bloated program from my laptop - save myself a few bucks - especially once I read the new withdrawal policy of $300 max cashout for US players - of course after I had a bankroll f nearly $3000. Sooo-looong - not sad to see go - program downloads are big and uncontrollable - instant flashplay takes just as "forever" - even with the best connections.

But that's just my opinion - an opinion of an addicted gambler - sending warnings - I am working at my addiction - simply put, just don't ever ever make a real money deposit. Before you know it, your cc#s will be memorized and the ability to make a 20 second deposit a common practice - ESP. at microgaming - they made depositing REALLY too easy.

PS - I WILL MISS MY TOMBRAIDER TOMB OF THE SWORD SLOT!!!(tear, sniff, tear -smile )

DragonLady777 I am a compulsive gambler. For the past year plus, I have been receiving one on one counseling through a program through a medical school, paid for by the State Lottery. What I am arriving at is there are a lot of things contributing to the addiction and not just the gambling itself. A lot of unresolved issues contribute to a gambling addicgtion.

One of the simplest things that helped me was turning off the alerts on my cellie and having them go to my email instead. The sound my cell phone made to alert me of a deposit made me feel like it was gambling time. That's something I came with on my own and told my Coach about. It was like Pavlov's dogs, I heard the sound and interpreted it as a signal to gamble.

The casinos probably don't like me too well, HOWEVER I am now only using money when the casinos give out freebies, and at that point, it isn't really money.

Good luck with getting your addiction under control.
