I think a coney is a chili cheese dog, named after Coney Island New York where they first became known. I really don't know for sure, but my mom calls chili cheese dogs coneys.

I know, I really don't know them by that name, just heard my mom calling them that as I was growing up, and I would wonder why she was calling them coneys, when they were clearly hotdogs.

I go outside about a week before Christmas and "PLANT" CANDY CANE SEEDS. My 3 children 9 and under watch me from the living room window. On Christmas Eve I go outside and "PLANT" around 100 CANDY CANES all over the lawn. On Christmas morning my kids get to go HARVEST the bounty.

Our family likes the wondeful smell of baked cookies and stove top fudge, it warms our hearts while we get into decorating everything in site. The windows glow of colored lights the dinner table lit up with fragrant candles, flickering soft light , casts enough light to set the table for all of our family and guests who will welcome the holidays with laughter and good cheer.
