TDTAT, I brought a kitten home from a pet shop that I worked at years ago. Someone brought them in (I assume they were born outside). I got him for an old boyfriend. He named him "Spike" (after the gremlin). Well let me tell ya' he was a monster!!!!!!!!!

He would chase me around the house and bite my ankles!!!!!!

Spike was the perfect name for him.

Rae, that is eerie, but I'm sure you heard about the cat in RI that lived in a nursing home. When a resident was ready to die he always knew. He would go cuddle up with them so they wouldn't die alone.

Voodoo your cat is the twin to my (now) 24 pounder. So big and tough, until the door bell rings!!!!! Then, just a blur, as he skulks low to the floor and hides. It's so hilarious.

And Ktty, what a cute story.

I could also quote everyone, but here goes the passion again.

One more story. Now I know where I get it from. When my dad was a kid, he came home with a pony. He told his mom it followed him home!!!!!!!!!

Okay guys I'm done.....lol

Funny about your Dad!!! smile

My Mother and aunt were notorious for collecting
any and all strays in their younger days...
I am talking dogs, cats, the occasional squirrel or injured
racoon.. turtles, birds.. the list goes on and on and includes
a few wild pigs that turned into pets instead of dinner!!

My grandmother still complains about all the animals she got stuck with
when my Aunt got married and moved away.

Good knowledge to have as a youngster for me.. my Mom
could never refuse me any animal smile

LOL TDTAT, I guess it usually runs in the family to some degree........

Hmmm, a pig, I hear they are very clean and smart, yeah hubby would love that!!!!!!

Of course I could say it followed me home!!!!!!

It's a good thing we don't live in the country because it would be a "rescue" farm

My cousin, (the notorious aunt's daughter) actually has
a giant pig in her barn.. they do live in the country.
The pig was caught (at about 10 pounds) to be raised for food,
but my cousin fell in love with it and told her husband it
was a pet.. now it is many hundreds of pounds!!

They are very smart and are a good way to get rid of
leftover food waste and all that smile Funny how things
go around and come around smile

Yet another nice animal story. I can't understand how someone could raise and care for an animal,,,,, and then eat it!!!!!!!

Speaking of pigs....
I would just like to tell everyone that one of my favorite all time movies is: Charlottes Web!!! (I don't think I spelled that right... it's been a while!)
Damn... 38 years old and I will cry when I watch that movie!

***But, I HATE SPIDERS!
