he's black , so black you can't see him in the dark even if he was 2 inches away from you and obedience isn't in his vocabulary lmao
LOL... Obedience is never in any Labs vocabulary... until they learn it!! right now he has you convinced that he's "stupid"
but he is much, much smarter than you give him credit for!
All dogs are! If you have the time (which really only takes 15 minutes a day), take him to obedience school... it will not only show you just how smart he is but will give the two of you an even more incredible bond than you might have now!!
remember, now-a-days they take shelter dogs and turn them into service dogs by having inmates train them!!Don't let his "hyperactive" personality fool you!!

lol I never said he was stupid the whole reason I chose a lab is for their intelligence and their manner with humans , labs and kelpies are probably the 2 smartest dogs I've ever seen, I know he's quite clever and not even really disobediant just sometimes he misbehaves a lot, it took him all of about 5 minutes to learn not to touch his dinner if I say leave it until I say eat it
also anyone (human ) can stick their hand in his bowl while he's eating it doesn't worry him he just keeps on eating no growl nothing ( another dog goes near his bowl is a quite different matter though)
