i was told from support that i can get cash back bonus if i deposit at least $100. for that one month, so i guess have to spend a $100 a month to get the 5% bonus cash back.

Hi! Cashback is based on losses of $100 or more, not deposits. You may combine it from month to month also.
So if you loose $50 this month and $50 next month, ask live chat for the cashback.
