I have a cat name Sammy a blue siamese, spoiled rotten and a great personality, he can be mean and spiteful sometimes though.

MY FAVORITE IS DOGS AS I HAVE A NEW PUPP Y JACKRUSSELL SHE'S TINY SO WE CALLED HER 'LIL DOG.

You know, now I really miss my aforementioned kitty cat!! I lost her in a break up long ago, and at that time, we both thought she would be happier with her mother whom she had always been with...

Now I am married to a dog person, and the last time I approached him wanting a new kitty, he bought me a stuffed animal! I guess I'll just have to bring one home from the shelter!

I wish I could have sent you a picture of "Giz" this morning. He was running around with a gallon milk jug (had used it to water flowers) in his mouth by the handle. Now he is half Corgi and half Border Collie (I think) and his legs are about 4 inches long and his body is about 2 foot long. The jug was dragging the ground. He trip on it, roll over it and jump up and take off again. He finds absolute joy in the least little thing. Wouldn't it be great to be so happy and content with life?

First of all, I LOVE Corgies!!! Second of all, thank you for making me laugh!! I just took my husband to the airport and won't see him for a month now...didn't think anything could make me smile today!

Hey anneandalan, sorry your hubby is going to be gone. Keep busy, time will pass faster. Or at least that's what THEY told me when my son was in Iraq. THEY lied, but oh well. Keep up with this forum and you won't be quite a lonely.

So sorry to hear about your son...I will put him (and you) in my prayers and ask the same of friends and family. I hope he will come home soon safe and sound.

My son calls Giz a doofus dog. Not too bright, but awfully cute.

I have been trying to type something here for about an half an hour. I hope your son is safe. I think it is ridiculous that THEY or anyone else thought they could tell you what to do to get through. But, the fact that you are clearly so positive and loving as you are speaks volumes about your character and who you are!
