I am going to see my 9-toed nephew today. He ended up losing one toe in the 4wheeler accident. He's a brave, tough kid at 15.

So sorry to hear about your nephew TDTAT!!! I was so hopeful they would be able to re-attach as they do such wonders today!!! What a brave young kid!!!

Thanks everyone! He is in great spirits and is ready to get back to school. He has been off the pain meds for a few days already, so what a relief. I was worried about that part. He doesn't seem to be affected emotionally by the toe loss. I would be devastated to lose a toe!

Glad that he is doing good and off of pain meds , that's the real scary part pain meds .
