Popping in very late to say Hi, after a very busy day. Flu shot, doctor, shopping, lunch and then babysitting my neighbour's newborn, so she could finally take a shower. Feels like a good day to me, but sooooo tired!

There's a charity thrift store here in Portland, OR which I dearly 
LOVE! Things are pretty reasonable as it it is, for example, a brand spanking new Lucky Brand bag for $18 which cost at least 20x that if you bought it in a store, a brand new black wool coat with velvet collar for $16.50, all kinds of housewares, pictures, furniture and stuff. The last 3 days of the month, they let you spin the Bingo Wheel for a discount. One time I got a barely used solid oak china cabinet for $35 after discount and I could go on, but I'll leave it at that. I love this wonderful store and it's a treat for me each time I go there!

Cora, I want to go to your store ! I would rather go shopping there than at a large commercial top end store, you find so many more unusual items with character at resale shops, not to mention that you get so much more for your dollar. Now you've got me wanting to go to some tomorrow and it's Saturday.
