It seems as if all I have done this summer is either pack, or unpack, as I have moved not once but TWICE!!!!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG story, and not a pleasant one. I will not bring anyone else down with the telling of the tale, but I will say that I love where I have finally landed. So gives the reason for my long abscence. I am very happy to say I have returned to the site at long last!!!!

I kept myself busy all summer with my garden . And now I have a freezer full of veggies to last me all winter.

Well this certainly isn't what I was going to put in my post yesterday but it looks like I will be spending this month of my summer looking for a place to move to. Just found out this morning that the owner is closing our apt complex.
NOT FUN AT ALL.
BUT, hopefully, in the last summer month I will be enjoying my new place to live
and if it has a pool I will for sure be laying out getting some rays and sipping on a few icy cold marguaritas !!!

I taught my little girl to swim. She just turned 5 and she is diving off the diving board and doing flips off the side of the pool. She's just like a little fish.
So I spend my summer swimming with her at the pool.
It's great and I love it. My first child is 24 and then her, so god blessed me after 19 years of not being able to have one. I geuss what I am trying to say
is summer is my feeling young again time. LOL

This summer I am cooking (practically non-stop) and feeding my almost 15 year old, 6 feet tall, size 13 shoe grandson. I swear that boy has a hollow leg (or two). Since I had 4 daughters and 3 granddaughters, I didn't realize just how much boys eat. Trust me, my pocketbook and refrigerator run on "E" with him here. But you know something? I wouldn't trade this job for any job in the world!

I am truly honored. Was looking forward to jewelry-making books. When I told my grandson about it, he said "Good, you can give the gift certificate to me." Sure enough, I hadn't budgeted for a birthday gift for him, so I gave it up.
