i love valentines day, even though i havent recieved anything from my hubby in years, but thats ok, hes got a big surprise from me this yeard, but dosent know it lol

Ok, I have TWO answers to this question!

YES- I Love Valentines Day when I have have a boyfriend - Someone Special In my life to spend it with. If I am single and are not dating anyone at the time, then It doesn't bother me one way or the other what I do on Valentines Day, if I am single then it's just another day to me.


NO- I Hate Valentines Day if I have more than 1 man in my life at the time! don't get me wrong, I'm not permiscuis, and I truely prefer to have a monogomous relationship with one boyfriend and would never 2-time anyone, that's wrong... but there are times when you might be single for a while and you start to get back into the dating scene, and therefore it's possible to meet more than one guy or you get asked out by more than one guy, and I don't think a woman should jump into a relationship right away with just any man, she should explore her options and be open to the possibility that the 1st guy she meets may or may not be the one - and should take caution when it comes to commiting to someone she just met.

Under these conditions, I think it's fair for her to date more than one man as long as she is not engaging in any intimate relations with all of them, and is honest with those that she has chosen to go out with by letting them know what her intentions are.

However, that does not alleviate the pressure on what to do should she happen to be dating more than one man come Valentine's Day!
If you are dating someone and you do not see them on Valentines Day, chances are they are seeing someone else, unless they
have a good reason for not spending it with you, such as work, etc...

And So... If ever comes a time when I am dating more than 1 man...
rather than be subjected to the pressure and akwardness of having
to choose who to spend it with and risk hurting someone's feelings, I would
have to say it is then and only then, that I would not be honest with any of
these men and tell them all that I am working on that day and I would just spend Valentines Day by myself.

On this one occassion, I may lack in honesty,
But at least I would still have my integrity...

This post brought back sweet memories that I had when I was much younger ops: The place where I came from this valentines day is a huge deal not to mention it is supposed to be very secretive...we, girls waited for a whole year to save money to make fancy basket full of pretty candies and dolls but never to tell anyone who you were going to give it to...and of course there is white day-march.14 for boys to respond to girls. Anyway, this year is very special for me since my almost 15 daughter has her first boyfriend so she has been driving me crazy to go shopping and getting ready to bake cookies and cup cakes...watching her so full of excitement for someone who she learned to care makes me feel old and emotionless but overall I love VALENTINES DAY.

maybe this time, I will hit the jackpot
