The best advice that I ever received was from an x-boyfriends father. Whom is now deceased. I was singing the blues one day and he asked me what was wrong. And I told him this and that. He told me if you want to feel sorry about your life just go downtown and look around at all the homeless people. He said you have got your legs, you got your life, you have got a roof over your head, food to eat, clothing on your back, and most of all you got people who love you. He said after witnessing that maybe your life won't seem so bad after all.
