My Christmas this year is very special for me, no gifts to give, no food for fancy meal but as this will possibly be my last with family (5 kids, 6 grandchildren) it is definitely my most special and best. I was diagnosed with Huntington's 4 years ago and doctor's say downhill slide now, 2 years max. My past Christmas' were all show and done right, most gifts, best gifts based on everything but the true meaning of x-mas. Annual income 90,000, had it all, did it all, life was grand and overnight I lost it all and now live off 1,000 monthly and $10 foodstamps for month. I live in a house that rains inside just as much as outside and hang plastic on ceiling to keep as dry as possible. It took a while but can you believe as terrible as it sounds, I am so blessed and happier than have ever been because for the first time it's all about love, faith, family, and a new inner peace and trust as I begin the end of my journey here before crossing to a higher plain. No money, food, or even roof over my head but how many people can cross this bridge and honestly say, If I die tomorrow, I will go happily because "YOU" have given me so much more than I ever asked for or dared to hope for; I had true love, a soul mate and my wonderful children and now, THIS CHRISTMAS; I AM BLESSED, THANKFUL AND HAVE MORE TODAY THAN I HAVE EVER HAD BECAUSE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I HAVE NOTHING EXCEPT FAITH, LOVE, TRUST, AND MY OWN BELIEF IN WHAT I KNOW IS REAL. I AM BLESSED AND HOPE YOU ALL CAN HAVE THE PEACE AND HAPPINESS I HAVE IN MY HEART TODAY. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!!

It is a few feet of snow!!!!
remember I am a florida girl, so it is bizzare to even see snow!
It makes it feel like xmas though, so I like it!!!
The good thing is I have a believable excuse now for all the gifts being late
to my family back east!!
