Those amorphophallus titanum are great... I have 2 of them... they are lil... one paeonifulium. The titanum is the most big inflorescense but the Raflessia arnoldi is the big flower and it is a parasit.... those plants are really fantastic...i love the plants and that was the reason to study biological botanic

I am very jealous that you have a titan! I have never seen one flower in person. I watched a show about them and that tall stalk gets really hot to pump out the bad smell all over the forest.

I have "carrion flower cactus" (Stapelia gigantea) growing around my yard and the flowers stink like rotten meat. The flowers are gorgeous, but the flies come when the flowers open. The flowers look like starfish and only last a day or two.
