Well, it's been a tough week. My cousin passed away Monday. I feel I can share this here with my NLN friends. He was just 49...close to my age, beautiful wife and 3 very successful kids who he loved dearly. He was very successful in his life and career, very respected and loved by many, yet struggled with alcohol addiction since his teen years. He made an effort to get help, 3 times in intensive rehab. He would be sober for months, even years...but the addiction was so strong. He had relapsed again recently, so he checked himself into another treatment center, was packed and ready to go on Monday. Unfortunately, which is often the case, he knew he was going to treatment, so had one last binge Sunday night. This one he did not survive. I'm sharing this tell anyone who is struggling to get help. Addiction does kill and leaves loved ones devastated. Blessings to you all!

So sorry to hear about your cousin kaymast! I have relatives who have struggled and died as a result of alcohol addiction, and it is a terribly hard thing to watch. I feel for you!

Good Morning Friday!
My dad is the same but that was yers ago now and h died because of drinking and not just that but every night when he's drunk , he always remember my high school days and college too when i enroll but i dont go to class and that makes him angry so when he is drunk he always look for me and makes me his punching bag. but those days are over now and it is casino playing days now....Good Luck!
