Got my idiot brother out of the hospital yesterday after his hip surgery. Insisted he could go home up 16 stairs and stay alone. ARRRRGGGGHHHH, almost fell on landing. 2 and a half hours waiting for him to get out, then get him home and settled, run to get prescriptions, and the pharmacy is out of stock of the most important one. Have to run to another pharmacy 15 minutes away, they give me prescription, I say is that all, where is his painkiller? Sorry, you have to give us the original prescription. I say the other pharmacy didn't give it back, and they said they transferred it all here. And of course, all this is happening on a really bad fibromyalgia day. God save us from stubborn men who hate hospitals. At least I got his daughter in to stay will him for the night.

Good Morning All!!! Thanks shirlsplay and luna, he is doing better, and so am I. We are just a little frustrated. He has made everybody upset with worry for him, but he is determined to stay home, and we are making it work as best we can. It is going to be a long few weeks until he can function on his own.
