I love Valentines Day, but this is due to having a Valentine to love! He's the most thoughtful, considerate man I've ever been with, and he treats me very well. Now dont get me wrong I also treat him well and will be making him a wonderful Valentines Day dinner this year to show him how much I love him!

I love Valentines day!
My husband is a very romantic man and I never know what he is going to do to surprise me next! I only know it will be fun, romantic, and totally original!

OMG I just remembered. As I was thinking of what to say - now I remember why I hate this day.
In high school, every year, on Valentine's Day - they would come in and pass out carnations to those "lucky bitches" who's boyfriends had bought them one.......I never got one and always felt like an idiot.
I have a wonderful man in my life (14 years now) and he does not go out of his way to buy me anything...what's wrong? Is it me? Doesn't anybody love me? Can't I get a stinkin' rose or a box of chocolates on Valentine's Day??????????????????
I haven't thought about that for 25 years....are ya happy NLN -- now I need to go back to my therapist!!!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY ANYWAY!!

rae,
Tell the man you want something! Communication is the key.
Men do not think of things women think of unless we tell them!

It was funny -cuz right after I wrote my post the phone rang. Mike's in NY working these past weeks - he actually called from GroundZero - anyway I told him my little story and said I wanted something - though it isn't the same when you have to tell them.

Half way to spring.
Everyone is happy.
Another dozen roses.
Reason to eat chocolate.
True love.
Enough said.

candabear, I fixed it!!!!
When you try to increase font size or color something, highlight the text
you want done first, then change the size or color.
You can click edit on the post I fixed and see what the code looks like..

I Like valentine's day... but I don't "Love it" and I don't "Hate it".. I just think it has become way to commercialized..(sp)
The guys feel pressured into buying the gifts. I would rather it be a heartfelt gift than one he feels he "has to get me" because of the day of the year.
Happy Valentine's day everyone!!
